Deja Blu played another destination wedding reception for bride and groom, Wallie and Jim, who came out from the east coast. The band set up top of the mountain at Thunderhead Lodge in the Champagne Powder Room. This was a PARTY wedding reception where everyone just had a blast, including the band! The dance floor was packed all night with everyone getting down. Working with Wallie was delightful. She asked that we learn a few special requests including “Glory Days” by Bruce Springsteen, “2 tickets to paradise” by Eddie Money & “You shook me all night long” by AC/DC. It was a crazy, fun night of dancing with a guest singer (best man) who joined the band to sing a few songs. I truly enjoyed working with Wallie to help plan the wedding reception dance music. She had great tastes picking a great selection from the 80’s and some classic rock mixed in with country. It was truly a memorable wedding reception for Deja Blu.
