With over 500 guests at the annual Mardi Gras Fund Raiser for Mullen High School, Deja Blu kept the dance floor packed all night. There was a live auction and we got to meet Joe Sakic, formally of the Denver Avalanche and Pete McKay , local icon known for KBCO and 99.5, the Mountain. What a night! The Grand Ballroom at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Denver was done up to the 9’s. I love playing corporate events like this one. There is always a live auction and this year, our favorite auctioneer, Gary Corbett, was there. After cocktails, dinner and the live auction, Deja Blu took the stage and rocked the night with some of our favorite Classic rock, Motown and swing tunes. We took requests from our quite large playlist. It was the dance party of the year! The dance floor was filled at the end of the night and we helped to raise money for a wonderful organization! Thank you Mullen High School!
