I love playing the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver. But, this night was extra special. We had the dance floor packed all night. We had plenty of reason to celebrate! This was one of the most heart-warming events we have ever played. We were hired to perform this corporate event that brought folks from all over the U.S. together for a team building/educational week. Our dance band played the wrap up event for Ashford University/Bridgepoint Education. They all got together in teams and built bikes for local Denver kids. Each bike was built for a child whose name was placed on the bike. These kids came from less fortunate families who can’t afford such luxuries. The teams were told that the bikes would be given to a local charity who would distribute them. Once all the bikes were built and we thought they were going to be loaded onto trucks. We got an amazing surprise. We all were in tears, when the kids actually made a surprise visit to the room. Each team was able to present the bikes they had built.
